Others, however, especially foreign visitors who are staying in the hotels in the enclaves Golden Beach, Marapicá, Costámbar, Cofresí and the Maimón district take advantage of the day and night to go to shops and bars, in addition to seeing the decorations that adorn Plaza Independencia, including a gigantic Christmas tree that the city council places every year at the end of the year.
