The coach of the Panamanian soccer team, Thomas Christiansen, announced this Thursday the list of summoned for the final stretch of the octagonal round of Concacaf, on the way to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Goalkeepers: Luis Mejía, Orlando Mosquera, César Samudio and Eric Hughes.
Defenses: Fidel Escobar, Jorge Gutiérrez, Michael Amir Murillo, Eric Davis, Andrés Andrade, Harold Cummings, César Blackman and José Córdoba.
Midfielders: Cristian Martínez, Aníbal Godoy, Abdiel Ayarza, Adalberto Carrasquilla, Alberto Quintero, César Yanis, Édgar Bárcenas, José Luis Rodríguez, Freddy Góndola and Víctor Medina.
Forwards: Gabriel Torres, Rolando Blackburn, Cecilio Waterman and Ismael Diaz.
The national eleventh will close the tie with three decisive matches. On March 24, he will play at the Rommel Fernández against Honduras, starting at 8:00 pm; then on the 27th it will be a visitor against the United States, at 6:00 p.m., and it will end on March 30 at home against Canada, from 8:00 p.m.
Panama is currently in fourth position in the octagonal round of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Football (Concacaf), which gives three direct passes to the World Cup.
The fourth place will be entitled to an international playoff with the representative of Oceania to define the qualification for the World Cup.
