The Peruvian national team player and parliamentary pre-candidate, Christian Cuevais at the center of a new controversy. The footballer has not only announced his application along with Fiorella Molinelli and Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, but the controversial promotional campaign that he spread on social networks shows him driving a car despite having had his license expired since May 2024, as revealed by the “Mostritos y Piranhas” Podcast.
The last one from Cueva 🤷🏽 drives with the expired license 😱
In the video where Cueva appears driving with the candidate @FioreMolinelli He says that he is running as a candidate, but he does so with his license expired on 05/24. The video proof
The news of his political incursion was spread through a video on social networks and quickly caught the attention of users.
Although the main intention was to show Cueva next to Molinelli—throwing him the phrase: “I have found out that you are running for the presidency. Isn’t there a space, doctor, there?”— what transpired was the legal violation of the former Scientist.
The clip, spread by Fiorella Molinelli’s TikTok account and later shared by the footballer, captures him behind the wheel of a vehicle, an act that is prohibited for anyone with an expired driver’s license, which constitutes a serious offense according to traffic regulations.
Alliance with Molinelli and Kuczynski
Despite the violation, the campaign continues. The videos show Cueva and Molinelli in festive scenes, including the famous “horse dance,” a symbol of the political group.
The alliance between the former World Cup player, Molinelli, and Kuczynski is consolidated with these images, while his ex-partner has also confirmed his integration into a political group.
