Christian Automotives, once again positioning itself as a leader in the national market, presented the Valtra brand tractors at Exposoya 2023, held this Friday and Saturday at the Anapo Experimental Center Km.80, road to Trinidad.
With this action, the concessionaire confirmed the start of its operations in the agricultural division of the country, becoming the new representative of the Valtra brand, one of the most recognized in terms of machinery for the agricultural sector worldwide.
“We are very satisfied because Christian Automotives is facing a new business challenge as the new representative of Valtra in Bolivia. Our objective is to bring the Bolivian client closer to a new line of state-of-the-art technology tractors, with new and more efficient solutions for the productive sector of the country and that is why we are present at Exposoya 2023”, indicated Claudio Jacir, manager of Valtra brand.
The executive explained that they opted for Valtra, not only because it is a highly prestigious brand in world agricultural activity, but also because it offers a complete portfolio of machinery that meets the needs of each Bolivian farmer with prices starting from $us 39,000.
Christian Automotors will commercialize in the first instance the Valtra tractors of light line (75 to 105 HP), medium (120 to 135 HP) and heavy (157 to 250 HP). Platform and cab versions are available. In the future, other types of machinery will also be offered, such as sprayers.
Christian Jacir, executive president of the automaker, pointed out that Valtra’s alliance with Christian Automotives is a commitment to the prestige and quality of service sustained by the dealership. “This is the first official approach that we will hold with the Bolivian productive sector, this initial meeting looks promising and we consider that it is the beginning of a new era for the Bolivian agricultural division, which we will follow closely and with technology,” he said.
Federico Terranova, Territory Sales Manager Valtra LATAM, came to the country for the presentation. “The expectation of arriving in Bolivia is high. Christian Automotives is a strategic partner in the Bolivian market, not only because of their prestige or their management capacity, but because it is a customer-oriented brand, as is Valtra”, he said.
The Valtra showroom will be located on Avenida Cristo Redentor, between the seventh and eighth rings. In the near future, Christian Automotives plans to open brand showrooms in the northern and eastern parts of the department. The company has a mobile technical service, which will reach the field.

The Valtra Inc. Brand arose in 1832, when the Munktells company began manufacturing agricultural machinery in Eskilstuna (Sweden). After several mergers, in 1951 the first Valmet tractor was manufactured in Finland. In 1960, this industry established its first industrial plant in South America (Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil). In 1979, the Finnish company acquired Volvo BM’s tractor operations, forming Volvo BM Valmet. In 2000, it was decided to market the brand solely under the Valtra name. In 2004 Valtra, is acquired by AGCO Corporation (global leader in design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural equipment.
Currently, Valtra owns tractor factories in Suolahti and Nokia (Finland), Mogi das Cruzes (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and General Rodríguez (Argentina).
