This Thursday at a press conference, the DT of the Women’s National Team, Nacho Quintana, officially presented the 23 players called up to represent Panama in the World Cup Play-Off Tournament in February in New Zealand.
Of the 23 summoned, 14 ended 2022 playing abroad, while the remaining 9 did so in the Women’s Football League (LFF).
Panama will play its first playoff match against Papua New Guinea on February 19 at 1:00 am (Panama time). If they win, they will play a second and final match against the winner of Chinese Taipei and Paraguay, on February 22 at 8:00 pm (Panama time). The National Team must also win this match to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia New Zealand 2023.
