The third vice president of Congress, Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País), announced that this Wednesday it will present a constitutional complaint against the president to the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations peter castle.
In dialogue with Canal N, the legislator indicated that the constitutional complaints filed against her by Betssy Chávez (Democratic Peru) seek to “distract” from the “facts of corruption that they want to cover”.
“Actually that doesn’t matter at all. It’s totally a smoke screen. And why is it a smokescreen? Precisely because there are many acts of corruption that they want to cover up”, maintained Chirinos Venegas.
Consequently, he assured that today he will present a constitutional complaint against the head of government due to the “infractions” he committed against the Magna Carta.
“The constitutional complaint against Pedro Castillo is also being filed today. All this time he has been working on this complaint, which has been collecting all the infractions he committed against the Constitution and new infractions appear every week”, he expressed.
As detailed by the congresswoman from Avanza País, the constitutional complaint will include the following facts:
– Meetings in the Sarratea passage, in Breña
– The alleged interference in the Armed Forces
– Intervention in the tender for the Tarata III Bridge
– The intervention to supply biodiesel to Petroperú
– The birthday party of Pedro Castillo’s daughter at the Government Palace
– The alleged interference in the Police,
– The alleged existence of a Shadow Cabinet, in addition to the statements about Bolivia’s access to the sea and the contradictions in his statement to the prosecutor’s office and the press about his meetings with Karelim López.
At another time, he spoke about the extension of the constitutional complaint against the Nation’s prosecutor, Zoraida Ávalos. In this case, she presented the document adding the “alleged presentation of false training certificates to be promoted to the incumbent supreme prosecutor” and the “indications of belonging to the Los Necks Blancos del Puerto criminal organization.”
