At the event held at the historic headquarters of El Comercio, important agreements were signed in order to enter new markets.

The group was led by Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Shen Haixiong, president and editor-in-chief of China Media Group. It is about the conglomerate that brings together China Central Television, China National Radio and China International Radio.

The delegation of Chinese officials and journalists was received by Luis Miró Quesada Villarán, president of the board of directors of Grupo El Comercio; Maki Miró Quesada Arias, president of the board of Plural TV and Compania Peruana de Radiodifusion (América TV and Canal N); Ignacio Giménez Zapiola, general manager (CEO) of Grupo El Comercio; and Fernando Muñiz Bethancourt (CEO), from América TV. All of them accompanied the Chinese officials throughout the tour.

The agreement seeks to strengthen commercial relations and expand exchange opportunities between companies, within the framework of a key market for the growth of media and digital commerce.

The alliance aims to explore new opportunities in the audiovisual industry and other commercial areas.
