China-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group strengthened cooperation

Members of the China-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group met this Monday in the Venezuelan parliament in order to take stock of the development of parliamentary relations between the two nations.

Deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra, in charge of directing the meeting, highlighted that opinions were exchanged on diplomatic matters, and they also took stock of the parliamentary relationship between the two countries.

“We exposed the parliament work planIn addition, we request the support of China so that both peoples can feed each other information, a request that was accepted”, said the deputy.

He added that it was an extraordinary meeting, and assured that the parliament is a guarantee of peace diplomacy.

He also said that the Chinese commission praised the Law on Special Economic Zones. “They took the Law to discuss it with Chinese companies.

Maduro Guerra added that he held a meeting with the Director General for Latin America of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cai Wei.

“From the National Parliament we continue to contribute to enriching the entire Diplomacy of Peace so that our people have more knowledge about the world,” said the deputy.

The representative of the Foreign Ministry of the People’s Republic of China toured the facilities of the Legislative Palace as part of the activities of the Venezuela-China Parliamentary Friendship Group.
