The governor of Carabobo state, Rafael Lacava, met with the new ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, to study the economic, commercial and industrial potential of the region for the benefit of the Carabobeño people.
The meeting also made it possible to strengthen ties of brotherhood and to exchange experiences with Asian communities based in Venezuela, such as those located in the aforementioned entity.
Likewise, Lacava affirmed, through his Instagram account @ lacava10oficial, that meetings similar to this one were held in various regions as part of the visit of the Chinese ambassador.
The meeting, held in the Capitol of Valencia, was described by the aforementioned governor as fruitful, which he hopes will yield positive results in the short and medium term.
Such meetings have allowed the ambassador to have a closer and more real idea about the possibilities of each region of the country that he has visited, as well as the activities of his compatriots.
Within his diplomatic experience, Ambassador Lan Hu has served as an official and attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia (1998-2000); attaché and third secretary of the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in 2000-2005; among other charges.
