China is consolidated as the main supplier of medical supplies for the health system of Cuba after the signing of five medical service contracts between the two countries, official means reported Thursday.
Cooperation transcended during the international event Cuba Health 2025which concludes this Thursday in Havana.
Within the framework of the meeting, 15 agreements were also signed between Chinese companies and the Cuban Medical Services marketerwith the aim of promoting health tourism on the island, according to the agency Latin press.
Some 20 companies of the Asian giant participated in this edition of Cuba Health, the largest scientific-business quote in the sector in the country.
The Cuban Minister of Public healthJosé Angel Portal Miranda, underlined the willingness of Cuba “to continue strengthening, diversifying and deepening cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, in the field of health.”
