Wang held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday night, in which the two parties discussed the crisis caused by the discovery of a Chinese aircraft flying over US airspace.
“China is a responsible country and has always strictly respected international law. We do not accept any baseless speculation,” said the former Chinese foreign minister in a statement released today by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
