Delcy Rodríguez arrived in China on Wednesday, December 4, to carry out a work agenda in the Asian nation that is unknown.
The vice president and Minister of Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Thursday, December 5, with the president of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Zheng Shanjie, with whom she reviewed the “extended” cooperation agenda since Nicolás’ visit Mature in September 2023.
Rodríguez announced that “the act that includes the new energy and financial path between our countries” was signed to activate bilateral cooperation at a “more efficient” level and be able to broaden horizons in the areas of work.
Subsequently, she indicated that she was received by her Chinese counterpart, Han Zheng, to whom she thanked that country’s support for Venezuela on the issue of sanctions. He recalled that since September, exchanges have increased significantly after the relationship was raised “at all times and at all times.”
He ratified that Venezuela recognizes in the Brics a geopolitical bloc that seeks an “inclusive economy” and allows access to the global south.

Previously, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian expressed the hope of Xi Jinping’s government to “deepen cooperation” in various areas with Caracas, and asserted that his country “looks forward to implementing the consensus reached” by Xi and his Maduro. on that occasion, when the “general direction” of bilateral relations was designed.
