The International Network for Human Rights-Europe (RIDHE) and the Miguel de Cervantes University of Santiago de Chile announced the opening of Scholarship Program 2025aimed at Nicaraguan students residing in Chile who wish to continue their academic training in various areas of knowledge, both online and in person.
With these scholarships, the organizations seek to “contribute to the comprehensive development and social integration of young Nicaraguans in situations of forced mobility,” according to the available information.
The courses that are available online are: Social Work, Computer Engineering, Human Resources Engineering, Business Engineering, and Auditing. The courses offered in-person in Chile are: Psychology, Political Science and Public Administration, and Law.

To apply, interested parties must download the application form on the website of educanicaraguafutura and meet the following requirements:
- 1. Submit a motivation letter
- 2. High school diploma (apostillation is optional)
- 3. Nicaraguan Identity Card
- 4. Chilean Identity Card
- 5. Certificate of address
- 6. Proof of income or rent
- 7. Digital passport-type photograph
According to the information available in the call for applications, the scholarship covers 100 percent of the costs and expenses for the course. Applications are open from September 7 to September 30 of this year.
