Chile joined the international sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense announced that the invitations to participate in FIDAE 2022 have been withdrawn from all Russian companies.
Through a statement, the Chilean Defense Ministry indicates that “due to the aggression against Ukraine by Russia, and that it was condemned by our country, the Ministry of Defense reports that the Chilean Government withdrew the invitation to Russian companies that they were going to participate in the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), which will be held in our country between April 5 and 10 next”.
The fair is organized by the Air Force and is the main aerospace and defense exhibition in Latin America, one of the top five in the world and which brings together more than 40 exhibiting countries.
