Children and young people participate in a reforestation day in the Waraira Repano

The children and young people of Caracas participated in the day of reforestation and throwing of supplies in the Waraira Repano, which took place this Sunday together with the Guardians of the Tree, the Climate Change Brigade and other environmental movements.

From the vegetable lung of the capital city, the member of the Guardians of the Tree, Yeiquer Flores, stated: “The social movements directly with the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Ecosocialist Youth are promoting reforestation, as part of the Day of the Tree and the National Day of the Araguaney”.

For her part, the member of the Climate Change Brigade, Arianny Manzo, stressed that they continue to promote participation and the message is to bring love to the planet. “Do as we are here to reforest and contribute our grain of sand,” she specified.

In this sense, the people of Caracas join in the planting of trees, together with the new generations of Venezuelans for the care and protection of nature.
