On October 20, in Clarines and Onoto, in Anzoátegui, 4,000 people were reported affected after the Unare River flooded, Governor Luis Marcano reported.
The official said that of the 7,000 homes established in both towns, “10% have suffered floods, affecting almost 4,000 people, most of whom have decided to stay in residences of family and friends.”
