The father of a 6-year-old was arrested today (11), in the act, after the minor fell from the 11th floor and died in the courtyard of a building in Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo. The incident was handled by military police.
According to the state’s Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the man was arrested for abandoning a minor. The child would have been left alone at home, on the 11th floor of the building, when the fall occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
The death of the minor was confirmed by a Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) team. The man was referred to the custody hearing.
