The general commander of the Peruvian National Police (PNP), Raúl Alfaro, indicated this afternoon that he will make himself available to justice so that the respective investigations can be carried out for his alleged relationship with businessman Jorge Hernández, ‘El Español’.
Alfaro did not attend up to two opportunities to give his statement to the Prosecutor’s Office, but as he explained in the statement broadcast by Canal N, the notification did not reach the place where he lives.
“Having learned from the media that your person had been notified to appear before the PNP special team to support the special team of prosecutors against power corruption on March 10, you are informed that you have not received any notification about it in their indicated work center ”, he explained in the document.
As he stated in writing, the notification would have reached an address where he has not resided for 11 years.
“I put on record my full willingness to contribute to each and every one of the investigative procedures carried out by your office, for which reason you requested that a date and time be set to assist in rendering my statement when you deem it appropriate,” he concludes by saying in the notice.
