The president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzén, arrived in Trujillo, La Libertad Region, to supervise the deployment of the Armed Forces (FF.AA.) and the National Police, whose mission is to strengthen security in this region.
This trip was accompanied by the head of Congress, Eduardo Sallejuana; Defense Minister Walter Astudillo; and Interior Minister Juan José Santiváñez.
Adrianzén stressed that the Government, led by President Dina Boluarte, has a firm commitment in the fight against organized crime and urban terrorism, emphasizing that efforts will not be spared to ensure citizen tranquility.
For his part, Walter Astudillo announced that the number of members of the FF.AA. It will be duplicated, incorporating the special forces to work in a coordinated manner with the National Police. This reinforcement seeks to guarantee the security of the population in a region specially affected by crime.
