The journalist Karla Ramírez, Chief of the Pan American Television Research Unit denounced that from the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Interior Ministry (Digemin) An attack against him would have been planned, which was going to be undercover as a “violent robbery.”
In a video broadcast on his social networks, Ramírez said he received information that there is a folder with follow -ups and her family environment. “We also know that a scheme has been done with my parents, my brothers and my children,” he warned.
The complaint occurs in the midst of the investigations that the Sunday Panorama develops on the El Dorado mine, where it is linked to the high controls of the Police, to the then Interior Minister Juan José Santiváñez and Nicanor Boluarte, brother of the president of the Republic.
“I request guarantees or that anything that could happen with my family, my parents, my brothers, my children,” said Ramírez, recalling that in previous processes in which the president of the president was mentioned, he removed prosecutors and police officers who investigated the case.

The journalist Karla Ramírez revealed to Peru21 that this morning he received a call from General Oscar Arriola, who informed him about a notarial letter sent against him and offered him police support. Ramírez explained that he rejected the shelter for considering that the police itself would be behind the follow -ups against him.
The Pan American Television researcher said that she continues to process the warnings received and directly responsible for Juan José Santiváñez Antúñez, former Minister of the Interior, as well as President Dina Boluarte, whom she accused of having granted power.
“If the police are behind these follow -up, I will not facilitate the work. Whatever happens, I warn about Juan José Santiváñez Antúñez and the government structure that has given him power, which is the president of the Republic herself,” said Karla Ramírez.
Official response
The Interior Ministry bluntly rejected the complaint through a statement:
“We sharply denied that the General Directorate of Intelligence (Digimin) has planned to attempt against the integrity of the journalist Karla Ramírez. From the mininter they are not carried out or acts outside the law. Very much, on the contrary, our duty is to guarantee the security of citizenship and combat crime in all its modalities.”
ANP pronouncement
The National Association of Journalists of Peru (ANP) considered the complaint of “extreme gravity” and demanded urgent investigation. In addition, he pointed out that the Minister’s statement is “insufficient and unfounded” and demanded that effective guarantees be granted to the communicator.
