The head of National Defense in La Araucanía, Army General Rubén Castillo —appointed after the State of Catastrophe decree in the area affected by forest fires that are also taking place in the Ñuble and Biobío regions—, addressed one of the measures that They have emerged as an option to facilitate work against claims; communal curfew.
The request to apply a curfew in areas affected by the forest fires was made by Chile Vamos and the Republican Party. In this regard, from the Government, the minister spokesperson Camila Vallejo, said that the measure “is in permanent evaluation” with the heads of national defense.
