A murdered person is the result of a shooting recorded at a political meeting of the Popular Renovation party held in the district of Reque, in the city of Chiclayo.

The deceased was identified as Eberh Adrián Linares Bazán (30), who was shot in the head; while his companion Ricardo Yamil Bello Vásquez (19) was injured when a firearm projectile fell on his back chest.
The hitmen’s attack occurred when Eberh Linares and Ricardo Bello were participating in a meeting in support of Manuel Neciosup Rivera’s Popular Renovation party’s candidacy for mayor of the Reque district.
Police are investigating whether this attack is related to political ends or an act of revenge against the deceased.
