During this weekend there are several complaints that environmentalists have been making from the department of Santander, specifically in a well-known tourist farm in the Chicamocha National Park, in Panachi.
The situation was published through social networks, indicating that there are several animals that would be in terrible conditions and in a state of abandonment.
“I am horrified by the deplorable state of the animals in the Chicamocha National Park, Panachi, here in Santander, the animals are without water, food and with open wounds without attention,” was the initial complaint on Twitter by María Alejandra Prada.
Adding that he did not understand the reasons why the animals are “in very poor health and nutrition.”
He specifies that in one of the videos you can see the pigs full of flies and with a large wound in the tail.
For this reason, “I ask the authorities to answer for the life of these animals, what quality of life they give these beings,” he emphasized and drew attention to the charge made to tourists and the condition in which the animals are. .

The Chicamocha National Park ruled
Regarding the situation and the complaints, the Chicamocha National Park responded that the management and concession of the farm where the animals are found is in charge of third parties.
They also confirmed that an investigation has been initiated to know and be able to determine the condition and state in which the animals are found.
