Sources close to the Judiciary confirmed to La República that this Friday, September 27, at 3:00 pm, Judge Juan Carlos Checkley will evaluate in a hearing the request for 18 months of preventive detention against the driver Andrés Hurtado, ‘Chibolín’; the money laundering prosecutor, Elizabeth Peralta; and Javier Miu Lei, investigated for alleged crimes of influence peddling and others, within the framework of an alleged return of 40 kilos of gold and bribe payments.
