The Chayanta province, through its leader Santiago Bautista, yesterday gave a 10-day ultimatum to the Potosí Departmental Prosecutor’s Office to clarify the case of the acquisition of 41 ambulances. They do not rule out taking action against Governor Jhonny Mamani.
He recalled that they waited 72 hours for the judicial instance to clarify the case and since they were not heard, it was decided to grant a period of 10 days. “We gave the Prosecutor’s Office 10 days so that it can clarify the assumptions made by the purchase of the ambulances. He added that a delegation from the town of Jatun Ayllu Marka arrived in the city of Potosí to “ask the judicial authorities” to clarify the case. The Attorney General’s Office and the Comptroller’s Office opened an investigation against Mamani.
