Juan Carlos Salvatierra is about to close the 2021 season with a flourish.
The Bolivian not only leads the Pro Moto Ironman category of the Desert World Championship, but he has also just received the news that will be awarded the “Impact Award” which annually awards the United States Off Road Sports Hall of Fame.
This is the first time that a Bolivian and South American athlete has entered this select list. ‘Chavo’ will receive the distinction at a gala to be held on October 30 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
In the same category of the Bolivian, motorcycling, they will also be awarded Ricky Brabec, Nic Garvin, Wrangell Gubler and Dante Oliveira.
