According to the opinion of the Chavista Parliament, Fernández de Kirchner is the victim of “judicial persecution for political purposes”, orchestrated by actors in the Judicial System who “lack autonomy, impartiality and independence.”
On the other hand, they urge the authorities to carry out all the necessary investigations to determine the material and intellectual perpetrators, as well as “impose exemplary sanctions.”
The Argentine vice president was pointed at with a firearm in front of her home in Buenos Aires last Thursday, September 1, while greeting a group of supporters who gathered near her home.
The suspect was arrested on the spot by the officer’s bodyguard. This is a 35-year-old man of Brazilian origin with a record of illegal possession of weapons.
