Chavismo will not dialogue with the opposition due to alleged links to drug trafficking

The head of the negotiating delegation of chavismo for dialogue between the Venezuelan government and the opposition, Jorge Rodriguezassured that there will be no meeting with the opposition delegation because he assured tEner evidence linking opposition leader Juan Guaidó with an Italian-Venezuelan drug trafficker detained in Cartagena, Colombia.

For now, the negotiations in Mexico will remain paused while the ruling party convenes an “intensive round of consultations and meetings with all the actors of the Venezuelan opposition” to have a broad knowledge of the expectations of all sectors regarding these dialogues.
