The vice president of Cy Rodríguez said that the external commotion state decree would allow Nicolás Maduro
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez said Monday 29 that Nicolás Maduro signed the decree of exterior shock state, which gives faculties to the Chavista administration to take “all the measures it deems appropriate in those circumstances that seriously affect the security of the nation.”
In a meeting of the Council for Sovereignty and Peace, where representatives of the diplomatic corps participated, the Vice President said that this decree “would be activated immediately”, in the event that the United States “dare to attack” Venezuela.
He explained that Maduro will be able to mobilize the National Armed Forces throughout the country, take “militarily the infrastructure of public services, hydrocarbons and our basic industries,” as well as “activate all the plans” of citizen security.
In addition, he indicated that the decision to close the maritime, land and aerial borders could be made.
“The Constitution is very clear, and has also established that no one will be allowed, inside or outside our territory, to promote, support or facilitate, to apologize for an external military aggression against Venezuela,” Rodríguez said.

On September 23, Maduro announced that he was evaluating a “state of external shock” against “aggressions and threats” by the United States, which maintains a deployment in the Caribbean Sea to fight drug trafficking.
The vice president said that “enough of the extremists”, while indicating that as authorities they cannot allow “these types of expressions in our territory of those who openly call a criminal block, who openly calls an invasion. It cannot be considered Venezuelan or Venezuelan ».
Since the deployment of the US, which has reported seizures, the destruction of four “narcolachas” and the death of at least 17 people in these attacks, the Maduro administration responded by calling for a “permanent enlistment” and the training of these people every week.
Said training goes through arms management, space evaluation and learning in combat techniques. Now, with an external shock decree they prepare “for any scenario to guarantee, the stability, the exercise of the sovereignty and the union of our country.”
