The Chartist caucus withdrew its support for Miguel Godoy, ombudsman, and will accompany the impeachment trial for poor performance of his duties. With this there are the votes to carry out the impeachment trial.
There is a possibility that today an extraordinary session will be convened for the treatment. Another possibility is that Godoy himself resigns from office to avoid his dismissal.
Several complaints weigh on the ombudsman. One of them was the intimidation attempts made by the official against deputies who promote the dismissal.
Pedro Alliana, president of the ANR, announced that in conversation with Horacio Cartes and Santiago Peña, they have made the decision to accompany the political trial against the ombudsman. This was already announced to Godoy himself.
