Charles Mariotti says President Abinader lives in a bubble

Santo Domingo.- The general secretary of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Charles Mariottistated this Wednesday that the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, is in a bubble that is dissociated from the reality that the country is experiencing.

“There is no one who is inside a bigger bubble than the President himself,” said Mariotti, referring to the speech given by Abinader on the occasion of the two years of Government during the Weekly Lunch of the Corripio Communications Group.

He also expressed that, despite the fact that the Head of State has said he is “pregnant” with good intentions for the country, they have not “just been delivered” because the people are paying for the degradation of the Government.

Mariotti emphasized that the Abinader government has not reached the achievements that it says and that it is enough to see the problems present in the Ministry of Education, National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE), with school breakfast, extended batch, high cost, the social program Supérate, among others.

“The Supérate Program has become a clientelist portfolio, total clientelism,” he said.
