Justice imputed Thursday night to the man who was arrested as the main suspect in the double homicide that occurred on Saturday in Colonia Nicolich (Canelones). It is for the crime of femicide, that is, there was hatred and contempt for the victims.

The case
The 26-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter were found dead in a house located on Los Palmares street, in Colonia Nicolich.

Neighbors stated that they heard nothing. The woman worked in a refrigerator where she sometimes worked double shifts. Acquaintances who testified to the police described her as a hard worker and a good mother. She hired a babysitter who could take care of her when she went to work. That woman was the one who found both victims Sunday night.
