The former Minister of Economy, who held this position for only three weeks, received the news of her change at the Casa Rosada, just after arriving in the country after her trip to Washington, where she met with investors, businessmen, World Bank officials and the IMF (International Monetary Fund).

As Batakis will leave the Ministry of Economy, she will now become president of Banco Nación, a position previously held by Eduardo Hecker.
