Changes in SITP routes due to road closures in Bogotá

The Secretariat of Mobility of Bogotá reported that it authorized the total closure of the slow lane South of 26th Street Avenue through 68th.

The work has to do with the hoisting of the trough beam of the vehicular bridge on the eastern side of Av. Carrera 68 with Av. Calle 26.

Due to the above, those who direct the work indicated that from this July 22 and until August 11 the road will be closed from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am

Detours from 26th Street Avenue to 68th

The District enabled the following alternatives for mobility in the city

Users passing through direction West – East by the slow lane of Av. Calle 26, at the height of Carrera 69C, they should take the fast lane South and continue along the two lanes that will be enabled.

Users traveling in the West-East direction along the slow lane of Av. calle 26 and want to take Av. Carrera 68 to the North should take Av. Carrera 68 to the South until Av. Calle 24 where the ears will be made to take Av. Carrera 68 to the north.

Those who travel from North to South on Av. Carrera 68 and want to take Av. Calle 26 to the East should continue along Av. Carrera 68 until Av. Calle 24 where the ears will be made to take Av. Carrera 68 to the North and Av. Calle 26 to the east.

Whereabouts of the SITP

Due to the total closure of the South slow lane, the provisional whereabouts located on the south side of Av. calle 26 between transversal 68 and the earin the North – East direction (386A06), will be disabled and will be unified with the existing bus stop (400A06) located on Av. Calle 26 by Carrera 66A (South side).

Alternate routes imposed by mobility Bogotá

Drivers traveling in the West-East direction along Av. Calle 26 can take Av. Ciudad de Cali to the South and Av. Calle 24 to the east.

Users traveling from the West to the East through Av. Calle 26 can take Av. Boyacá to the South and Av. Calle 24 to the East.

Those heading from the West – East direction through Av. Calle 26 can take Av. Carrera 70 to the South and Av. Calle 24 to the East.

In this sense, pedestrians and cyclists will have their steps without any news, that is, they must use the exclusive lanes for them.
