La Romana – The Perreme movement +Cambio, during a rally in which more than seven thousand people participated, asked President Luis Abinader, with one voice, his reappointment for the presidency of the Dominican Republic, to continue working in favor of all Dominicans and thus achieve the homeland that everyone dreams of.
The massive act, which has been described as the largest political concentration in history held in La Romana, was held at the San Martín de Porres Club of the aforementioned municipality.
Carolina Mejía, General Secretary of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), when addressing those present, asked for “unity and work to strengthen our party and guarantee victory, led by Luis Abinader, this 2024.”
Mejía told party members that they must work harder than ever since “President Abinader needs us, because the country needs us.”
Leaders of the blue, white and gold party from all over the country also participated, among which stand out; César Cedeño, Fredy Fernández, Breinlyn Hiciano, Darío Cedeño, Felix Hiciano, Wandy Batista, Nando Paniagua, Leyvi Bautista, among others.
The perremeista leader, César Cedeño, expressed that “a Dominican Republic cannot be conceived without Luis Abinader, because that would mean looking back and returning to corruption, backwardness and inequality.”
While Fredy Fernández expressed that “we need more independent justice, more health, more education… in short, the Dominican Republic needs +Change with Luis Abinader.”
Messrs. Dario Cedeño, the provincial governor Jackeline Fernández, Heriberta Sánchez; President PRM La Romana and Dolores Núñez Provincial President PRM and National President of CODIA. On behalf of the senators, belonging to +Cambio, spoke Santiago Zorrilla from the El Seibo Provincial and on behalf of the deputies of +Cambio Leyvi Bautista, deputy with the most votes at the national level and director of the women of the +Cambio movement.
New sworn members
They were sworn into the PRM, through +Cambio Julio César Piccirillo, former PRD deputy, former PRD councilman and PRD president; Félix Severino, former president of the intermediate committee, Josecito Padua Falet «B» (PLD); Raúl Martínez, former Secretary of Community Affairs of the PLD and Bienvenido Johnson, former leader of the municipal committee of the PRD.
In addition to Johnny Jorge De La Cruz, Jairo Elias Ulloa Zorilla, Nilson Aquino Rodríguez, José David Aquino, Eduardo Val, Samuel Valentín George and Carmen Fiorely Reyes, all of these former PLD leaders.
