Immense sadness and pain mourn a family in Tingo María
A 22-year-old girl was detained by members of the Peruvian National Police (PNP) after being accused of abandoning her five-year-old daughter in a night bar, exposing her to a serious risk situation.
According to police information, the minor was found crying and in a state of despair inside a night establishment. The incident generated the immediate intervention of agents from the Pichanaqui Police Station, who managed to rescue the girl and put her in safekeeping.
According to preliminary investigations, the mother identified as Yameli, 22 years old, would have left the minor alone to go and consume alcoholic beverages. The alert was given by the girl’s father, who promptly informed the Police about what happened.
The woman was arrested and taken to the police station, where she was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry. The authorities are considering charging him with the alleged crime of exposure to danger or abandonment of a person at risk.
The case remains under investigation while the corresponding responsibilities and protection measures in favor of the minor are determined.
