He also pointed out that the areas at risk from a possible overflow would be the population centers of Florencia, Shimayacu, Bajo Limonal, Limonal, La Esperanza, Miraflores, Annex 14 Ivita, San Miguel, Jesús María, Puente Paloma, Playa Hermosa and San Ramón.
For this reason, the National Institute of Civil Defense of Peru recommended avoiding any activity near the river.
