After reports of alleged poisoning in Chanchamayo, the Integrated Health Network Chachamayo, in coordination with the Crime Prevention Prosecutor’s Office, supervised four educational institutions with the aim of verifying the withdrawal of food products such as canned meat, chicken and fish, distributed by the Wasi Mikuna program.

The inspections were carried out at the “Capelo” Educational Institution, Ie Virgen del Carmen, IE Polytechnic Selva Central and the EI ERENÉ, where foods were withdrawn according to the sanitary protocol, in order to protect the health of minors.
This action is part of a joint effort to guarantee the food security of students and ensure compliance with current health provisions.

More cases of alleged intoxication
A mother reported that she and a student presented symptoms of poisoning after consuming a stew prepared with tuna and tuna of the Wasi Mikuna program. One of them showed ranches on the skin. The case occurred at the Pronoei Center Cheni, in Satipo.
