Through the “Impact 2025” operation, the National Police rescued three men with their hands tied who were being transported aboard a minivan, in the Alta Montaña area sector, in the district of Chanchamayo, Junín region. In addition, they arrested 14 people, alleged members of the criminal gang known as “Los Bravos de Río Colorado.”

At around 10:00 am, the agents intercepted a Toyota minivan vehicle, model Corolla, license plate A8S-094, inside which were three men with their hands tied and beaten, identified as José Luis Meza Samaniego, Christian Meza Samaniego and José Meza Campos.

During the inspection of the vehicle, the agents found a handmade shotgun with wooden and rusty metal parts, fitted with a rubber strap. Among those captured are people of various ages, from a child under 17 years old to older adults. The detainees are accused of aggravated usurpation, aggravated robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping and illegal possession of firearms.
