A huge mudslide would have dragged and buried an orange truck in which three people were traveling. This occurred at the height of the La Virgen tunnel, at kilometer 83 on the Tarma – Chanchamayo highway in the Junín region. What is known so far is that three people were traveling in the unit and two were rescued alive and taken to the San Ramón health center.

Marco Antonio Condezo Lazo, Jorge Luis Condezo Lazo and Elvis Rodríguez Lazo were the ones who were traveling in the truck and in the area firefighters and the population worked to help them. Agents from the Emergency Unit (Uneme) of the Peruvian National Police (PNP) and from San Ramón also arrived. According to police sources, two people were rescued, the first was Elvis Rodríguez Lazo.
