“We want to go towards a complete free trade zone, and I think that informal actors are integrated into the formality, which is what Peru wants,” he told the Andina Agency.
One of the things sought with this forum, which will be held soon in the country, is the entry of new investments into Peru. Added to this is the transition that the Executive expects from informality to formality. “What Peru also wants, without a doubt, is for this to be the most important showcase of these times,” he added.
It should be noted that businessmen from various sectors will arrive at APEC 2024, including those from TikTok, Huawei, mining companies, food processors, transnational companies, among other sectors.
The chancellor reported that from November 9 to 16, when Leaders’ Week will take place, meetings will be held in line with the meeting of leaders, one section with guests from other countries that are not part of APEC and another with international economic and financial organizations. .
“They will begin to arrive around November 10 and 11, some leaders come earlier because they will want to make an official visit first, we will have five official visits and two state visits,” he said.
