The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Yvan Gilmet with diplomatic representatives of European countries accredited in Venezuela to “rebuild mutual relations.”
This was reported by the Chancellor from his account on the social network Twitter.
We held a cordial meeting with the Heads of Mission of member countries of the European Union in Caracas, an opportunity for frank dialogue in order to rebuild mutual relations within the framework of respect for international law, self-determination and cooperation, Gil published last night of this Tuesday.
According to one note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting the diplomatic authorities reviewed political, economic and cooperation issues on the bilateral, regional and global agenda.
Similarly, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said that this meeting is the first to be held since 2020, after a complex and tense relationship in recent years with the European Union (EU) and its member states.
The meeting allowed Foreign Minister Yván Gil to urge the EU through the diplomatic representatives of the European countries on respect for International Law, the Charter of the United Nations and the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
It is important to highlight that the Venezuelan Government has always kept the doors open to dialogue, communication and understanding, in order to advance on all political, economic, commercial and cooperation issues as part of the Bolivarian Peace Agenda.
