During a telephone conversation this Thursday, November 28, the official noted that Machado and González “remain committed to the restoration of freedom and democracy in Venezuela.” “I have stressed that we are firmly at your side in this brave fight.”
Likewise, he described the increase in oppression of members of the opposition as “very worrying.” The chancellor also stressed that it is important to discuss how the international community can contribute to a peaceful solution to the political crises in Venezuela.
