Foreign Minister Yván Gil criticized this Sunday that the European Union, especially its high representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, “appoints itself judges in its interventionist policy at the service of the United States”, after the response that the bloc has had to the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia.
The Central Electoral Commission of Georgia confirmed that the ruling Georgian Dream party won the parliamentary elections with 54.09% after more than 99.9% of the votes were recounted, but the opposition gathered in three blocs, protected by the EU and Borrell, “they sing of fraud without evidence because, like in Venezuela, they want to act all over the world,” warned Foreign Minister Yván Gil.
