The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, denounced before the diplomatic corps accredited in the country the claim of a sector of the Venezuelan ultra -right of generating situations of violence in the national territory.
From the yellow house Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, Gil talked about the terrorist plans recently exposed by the authorities. «They planned to place explosives, bombs, in a well -known Venezuelan square (…) precisely in the square we raise to celebrate the 80 years of victory against fascism. See the symbology of this, that is, they are groups that define themselves as fascists and intend to attack the symbols of anti -fascism.
He added that they also seek to “generate death, chaos,” and that it is no longer in fact that they have the country’s authorities, but “now they go for the Venezuelan people,” punishing him with bombs.
«We have to report it. There is a group completely out of itself that aims to generate situations of violence. He will not succeed (…) Venezuela is a country of peace and its population is of peace, indistinctly from its political preferences, which may exist, ”he said.
In addition, he assured that this small extremist sector goes against the will of peace of the Venezuelan people, but “we ask the international community, the countries of the world, that these facts are convicted as Venezuela condemns each and every one of the acts of violence, of terrorism that occur in all parts of the world.”
“Terrorism in Venezuela will not happen, it will not happen, but it is necessary to point it out, undress it before the world, and ask that these elements be completely isolated because they act by all the ways,” he said.
He recalled that in 2014 Latin America declared itself as a peace zone and ratified the will to honor that commitment, doing what is necessary to guarantee peace. He urged international and multilateral organizations in the region to raise their voice “to ensure that these threats do not reach their goal, because it is not intended to attack Venezuela as soon as we”, but these actions can be applied to any country.
“What this group of deranged people who have a presence in the United States government intends to do is generate complete destabilization in Latin America to obtain personal, economic benefits (…), and are able to activate a violent, hostile, negative force, against a whole continent,” he warned and added that the purpose is that Latin America is a permanent war territory.
He also stressed that a new world order is being born and that this generates fears in imperialism, being an unstoppable way for this type of actions. He added that a great uprising can arise between the peoples of Latin America that finished accelerating the necessary changes to consolidate peace and stability at the international level.
Venezuela against coercive measures
The Foreign Minister summarized the adversities that Venezuela has faced by the unilateral and illegal coercive measures imposed against the nation. He recalled that in 2015 the United States government, led by Barack Obama, intensified the multiform attack against Venezuela by declaring it as an alleged “unusual and extraordinary threat”, being the backbone of the more than 1,040 coercive measures “that seek to end peace and economic recovery.”
He said that from that moment, the aggression against the country has intensified, “an attack that took all the ways: blockages to our international trade, sabotage to our industry both oil and the production of goods and services, sabotage to our currency, the Bolívar, and all the versions that we can see of economic attacks, even in an inhuman category that occurred during the worst pandemic that humanity has known in the last century in the last century in the last century. COVID-19, where we tried to block to access medicines, vaccines, equipment ».
He stressed that thanks to the structure of relations that Venezuela has with most of the countries of the world, “we were able to overcome that eventuality of COVID-19”, appropriately accessing the necessary resources to deal with the pandemic, this being an example “of the greatest perversion we have lived on the international scenario.”
He also highlighted the importance of the civic-military unit that exists in the country, which allows stability to the people of Venezuela, based on the principles of participatory and leading democracy.
