The Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and the Superintendency of Banks (SB) signed a agreement of inter-institutional cooperation, with the aim of favoring the agile exchange of information, informed the first entity in a press release.
The agreement was signed by Manuel Luna Sued, president of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerceand by Alejandro Fernandez W., Superintendent of Banks of the Dominican Republic, and establishes allowing the SB to access information from the system of Commercial Registry.
Similarly, the agreement will admit to the Chamber of Santo Domingo access to information on the credit portfolio by economic destination and loans by currency and destination, as long as there is no legal or confidentiality impediment.
After signing the agreement Luna Sued highlighted its relevance for both entities. “This data correlation is important, since it will allow greater access to the stored public data of the Commercial Registry“, He said.
The president stressed that the pact goes hand in hand with the digitization process, which the entity has been executing for some years in favor of the business community.
For his part, Fernandez W. positively assessed society and the actions carried out by the Chamber to make its services increasingly accessible.
