Several artists received a distinction this morning in the Lower House. The event took place in the Acosta Ñu Hall. One of the winners was the singer Ricardo Flecha, who thanked the award.
«I think it is fair for many, but it must be reflected in the budget for culture. More support from state entities, to develop the cultural sphere. Beyond the acknowledgments that are necessary, we need more support,” he pointed out.
Carlos María López, president of the Chamber of Deputies, affirmed that he loves culture since it has no borders.
«They are people who have done a lot of good for culture, people who work in ceramics, dance, poetry, music and historical research. The most important thing is that you have to demonstrate, do it with enthusiasm », he commented.
