The Chamber of Deputies is reconfiguring all the permanent commissions that study bills, so the sessions will be resumed as of next week.
The commissions, in which the central axis of legislative work lies, are elected by the party blocs and endorsed by the Coordinating Commission, which is chaired by the president of the lower house, Alfred Pachecoand is made up of the spokespersons of the benches.
Every two years its members must be modified or confirmed and during that time, the plenary does not know the reports of the projects, resolutions, contracts and legislative matters.
The commissions with the greatest amount of work are those of Justice, Finance, Education, Health, Interior and Police, Human Rights, Environment, Municipal, Chamber of Accounts.

It is recalled that julito fulcarspokesman for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), presented the proposal so that those who lead the 2022-2023 legislative period are Nelsa Shoraya Suarez and Agustin Burgos as secretaries of the management firm, Olfanny Mendez as vice president and Alfred Pacheco as president of the Chamber of Deputies, which was unanimously accepted by the deputies present in the hemicycle.

The swearing in of the secretaries and the vice president was in charge of Alfred Pacheco after this being sworn in by Máximo Castro at the head of the Lower House.
