The plenary of the Chamber of Deputies will choose, this Wednesday (25), the new names that will compose the Board of Directors of the House.
The election was motivated by the decision that made vacant the positions of 1st vice president, 2nd secretary and 3rd secretary, after the change of party of the then holders: Marcelo Ramos (PSD-AM), Marília Arraes (Solidariedade-PE) and Rose Modesto (União-MS), respectively. According to the call made by the president of the House, deputy Arthur Lira (PP-AL), the session, scheduled for 1:55 pm, will have an exclusively face-to-face vote.
The federal deputy Marcelo Ramos was removed yesterday from the position of vice president of the House. The parliamentarian exchanged the PL for the PSD.
To stay in office, at the time of the change of legend, the deputy filed a lawsuit with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and obtained an injunction in his favor. But yesterday, Minister Alexandre de Moraes revoked the decision and allowed the Legislature to decide on the composition of the Board of Directors.
Deputies Marília Arraes and Rose Modesto were also removed from the Bureau. Marília exchanged the PT for Solidariedade and Rose, the PSDB for União Brasil.
