The National Congress begins the legislative year next Monday (2). The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), announced, this Wednesday (28), via social media, the agendas that will be taken to the House for a vote next week.
Voting on the provisional measure (MP) that creates Gás do Povo is scheduled. The project, from the federal government, offers the refilling of 13 kg cylinders for families registered with CadÚnico with an income of up to half the minimum wage per person. The program seeks to serve 15 million families.
Also on the agenda are an MP that opens extraordinary credit of R$83 million for the rural sector and the bill that creates the Federal Institute of Sertão Paraibano.
Commissions
Next week, the installation and election of the presidents of the permanent committees should take place. According to the government leader, José Guimarães (PT-CE), the agreement between the leaders was that the commissions will be commanded by the same parties as last year.
“The proposal to maintain the same parties presiding over the committees was approved. Only the names change. But what each party has had so far in the committees, the nominations will be repeated. Each bench will have next week to discuss this, to compose everything before carnival. This is the priority of priorities”, said Guimarães.
Second President of the Chamber, The Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) for Public Security will be debated in the coming weeks, with a vote expected after Carnival. PEC rapporteur, deputy Mendonça Filho (União-PE) will meet with the new Minister of Justice, Wellington Lima e Silva, next week to discuss the text.
Regarding the agreement between Mercosur and the European Union, Hugo Mota stated that, as soon as it is sent by the federal government to the Chamber of Deputies, the proposal will be analyzed and voted on quickly.
